Our first partner organisation is Church Wigan - the Church of England Churches of Wigan working together. We provide administrative services of a variety of kinds, but also help fundraise for the many projects undertaken to support local communities and see Wiganers flourish.
donr is a leading provider of donation services using text messaging from mobile phones. WDT have used donr to support a successful text giving campaign in support of Church Wigan's food ministry during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
Fur Clemt is dedicated to reducing edible waste food reaching landfill by collecting it from suppliers and making it available to the community through cafes, food outlets, and a food sharing system.
Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership
The Greater Manchester devolution deal means having charge of our own health and social care spending in the area. GMHSCP is central to the partnership working that will improve the health, wealth and wellbeing of the 2.8 million people living in Greater Manchester.
Healthwatch Wigan and Leigh
Healthwatch is an independent champion for people who use health and social care services. Their concern is to make sure that those running services put people at the heart of care, and to work to get services right for the future.
JustGiving is one of the UK's leading fundraising platforms, with full support for giving campaigns using a variety of cashless methods of donating. WDT's first JustGiving campaign was in support of Church Wigan's food provision services.
ManSys IT support
Based in Leeds, ManSys provide IT support to a wide range of customers based across the north of England. Their clients include a significant number in the third sector, including a number of Church of England dioceses.
The Brick is Wigan's leading charity offering services to people who are homeless, in poverty or facing debt crisis. It provides a safe, solid building block for people in crisis to begin to construct a new life and become valuable members of society.
