Appointment of our Christians Against Poverty (CAP) debt centre manager.
We are delighted to announce that Christiane Cook has been appointed as our Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Debt Centre Manager. She is now receiving clients. A big thank you to everyone who has donated to help with the appointment. With our plan to run the post for a minimum of three years and a £60k project we would love your support in raising further funds, to add to our growing total.
Christiane has set up and will manage the running of the debt centre in partnership with CAP and The Lifted Project. Her main task will be to support clients on their journey to becoming debt free through home visits and ongoing support. All of this must be conducted in a way that positively reflects the Christian faith and the core values of the CAP charity.
Anyone seeking debt advice can contact CAP on 0800 328 0006 or capdebthelp.org
The work of Christians Against Poverty in many areas has resulted in the privilege of seeing people discover hope as they begin to work with CAP and their local church. Thousands of lives have been positively impacted through the powerful combination of practical help, restorative church communities and Jesus’ love.
Transformed lives. Thriving churches. An end to UK poverty.
