Wigan Deanery Trust was formed in April 2019 to support Church Wigan and other charitable partners in their goal to renew church and revive communities in the Borough of Wigan. Now in its fourth year, the trust's support work is constantly widening in terms of the projects we support and the resources we can offer.

Right now, we are focused on expanding our role by fundraising for key social action particularly among young people and those most disadvantaged or marginalized in the borough.  We are proud to be playing a key leading role in the current food distribution programme in partnership with the Council that began during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are determined to continue and expand this work into the future building more partnerships as we journey forward together.
